- The updated electric hypercar will come equipped with a 103 kW battery pack.
- No horsepower figures have been released but it should pack more than the 1,005 hp of the standard model.
- The exterior will include various carbon fiber and gold-painted accents.
Hispano Suiza has dropped a new teaser of the compelling Carmen Sagrera, an updated version of its electric hypercar set for launch at a special event in Sant Pere de Ribes, Spain, on June 13.
The Hispano Suiza Carmen has always been a bit of an oddity and while this new version is based on the standard car, it should offer some nice upgrades. Changes made to the exterior are immediately apparent, including a new large rear wing. We caught our first glimpse of this in February when the first teaser of the new car was released. It is made from carbon fiber and rocks gold accents.

The new teaser also appears to show that the Carmen Sagrera will include aerodynamic louvers on the front wheel arches, golden elements on the wing mirrors, revised rear quarter panels, and a large sharkfin antenna on the roof.
Few details about the car’s revised powertrain have been announced, other than a new larger 103 kW battery, as opposed to the 80 kWh pack of the original Carmen. This will inevitably benefit the car’s driving range, and we expect the electric motors to get a nice boost. The standard Carmen produces 1,005 hp while the limited-run Carmen Boulogne is capped at 1,100 hp, but the Sagrera will probably have more power than both.
The company will also make a few revisions to its hypercar’s cabin, although Hispano Suiza simply described the interior as undergoing an “evolution,” without providing more details.
