- Ford has introduced a new Black Appearance Package for the 2024 Bronco Raptor.
- The $4,995 package includes a mix of Shadow Black and Matte Black accents.
- The Bronco Raptor starts at $90,035 and has a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 producing 418 hp.
Jeep isn’t the only automaker looking for a celestial boost as Ford has introduced the new Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package. Unveiled in conjunction with today’s solar eclipse, the model features a “sinister new look.”
Drawing inspiration from the heavens above, the Black Appearance Package adds Shadow Black paint to the roof, roll bar, mirror caps, and fender flares. Ford says the accents provide “striking contrasts with the Raptor’s bold paint catalog.”

The dark theme doesn’t end there as the package includes a Matte Black steel bumper, skid plate, and tow hooks. The package also includes unique body-side graphics and hood decals.
The Black Appearance Package is priced at $4,995. Factoring in the Bronco Raptor’s $90,035 MSRP and $1,895 destination fee, the total cost starts at $96,925, with Ford to begin accepting orders later this month. While the changes are relatively minor, Bronco Brand Manager Jason Hyde said “Customers choose Bronco Raptor for two reasons: its high-performance off-road capability and its distinctive appearance. The Black Appearance gives them a look that stands out on any trail and under any sky, even a total solar eclipse.”
Putting looks aside, the 2024 Bronco Raptor features a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 developing 418 hp (312 kW / 424 PS) and 440 lb-ft (596 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system. The model also comes with an off-road focused suspension, an electronic-locking rear differential, and 17-inch wheels wrapped in massive 37-inch tires.
