Crashing a car is one of the most dreadful events that can happen in any car owner’s life. However, crashing a very rare Rs. 7 crore Lamborghini makes it the worst experience for this particular owner. Recently, a few pictures of one of the 900 Lamborghini Aventador SVJs in the world have been shared online. This particular incident has been reported from Bangalore, where the owner of this SVJ crashed into a divider while trying to avoid hitting a biker.
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Crash
The pictures of this rare Lamborghini Aventador SVJ after its crash have come courtesy of Team BHP. In the pictures, we can note that it was being loaded onto a flatbed truck. There were a number of people surrounding this supercar.
The other picture showed the extensive damage on the front right of this supercar. It can be observed that the front right fender has been completely destroyed. Additionally, the LED headlight has also been damaged.
Along with this, the front bumper and bonnet have also sustained irreparable damage. Apart from these damages, the rear of the car appears to be fine. However, most likely this could still be a total loss.
Some people have highlighted that there could be damage to the carbon fiber monocoque chassis of this particular car. And because this monocoque chassis is one single piece, it cannot be repaired. Also, changing the monocoque tub is a tedious and expensive process. Hence, it could be deemed a total loss.
What happened?
The exact whereabouts of this accident have not been reported. However, what has been stated is that the owner crashed this Aventador SVJ into a divider. He was reportedly avoiding hitting a motorist on the road. Thankfully, the owner escaped the accident without any injury.
History of this Aventador SVJ
This particular Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, although has a number plate from Maharashtra. It resides in Bangalore, Karnataka. The owner of this car has been spotted on numerous occasions on the streets of Bangalore. He also has a record of reckless driving on numerous videos showing the same on YouTube.
In one of the videos, this particular SVJ was seen being recklessly driven on public roads. This car is especially more radical as it gets a Novitec straight piped exhaust. It is the loudest Aventador in India.
How rare is this Lamborghini Aventador SVJ?
For those who may not be aware, the Aventador SVJ is the final iteration of this flagship V12 supercar. The Italian automaker has only produced 900 units of the Aventador SVJ coupe. The company has also produced 800 units of the SVJ Roadster. In India, there are around 6-7 SVJs. This one is one of only two green Aventador SVJs in India.
There is also an Aventador SVJ 63 in India as well. In total, there are only 63 units of SVJ 63 coupes. And there are also only 63 units of the SVJ 63 Roadster. The standard SVJ costs Rs. 7 crore on-road. Meanwhile, the SVJ 63 costs upwards of Rs. 8.5 crore.
Aventador SVJ Powertrain
This super exclusive supercar comes powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine. It produces a maximum power of 770 PS and torque output maxes out at 720 Nm. The power goes to all four wheels of the car through a 7-speed ISR transmission.
