2024 All-New Maruti Dzire Compact Sedan: What It Could Look Like

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of the fourth-generation Swift in India. Most likely, it will be launched this month. However, the model in the international markets has been out for a few weeks now. Because of this, a number of drive reviews of this hatchback have been shared online. Today, we bring to you three such video reviews of this popular hatchback’s newest iteration.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift – Review 1 by What Car?

The first in-depth review of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift comes courtesy of What Car? This particular car was tested in the United Kingdom, and the presenter gives a detailed review of this new car. He starts with the introduction, where he introduces the fourth-generation Swift.

He states that the small hatchback’s predecessors have been around since the 1980s. However, Suzuki started using the nameplate Swift in 2004. So, this new car becomes the fourth-generation model. Next up, he talks about the exterior of the SUV.

Before that, he mentions that although Suzuki claims it to be all-new, it is still based on the previous generation model’s Heartect platform. Following this, he mentions that the car has been heavily revised and now looks more modern and stylish. It gets redesigned headlamps, grille, and a new bonnet.

He states that the company has kept the dimensions nearly identical to the previous model. Apart from this, he then moves to the interior of the car. The presenter highlights that the interior now gets a dual-tone cream and black theme with silver accents all around.

According to him, it looks pretty nice, but the materials feel a little cheap. He adds that the car comes very well-equipped with automatic climate control and a 360-degree camera along with a 9-inch display. Apart from this, he adds that the seats are very comfortable and supportive.

Finally, he drives the hatchback and gives his driving impressions. He states that the new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine is a very decent motor. It generates a maximum power of 81 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. In terms of driving, he states that it feels planted and there is minimal body roll.

Review 2 by Nobby On Cars

The second detailed video review of the 2024 Suzuki Swift comes from Ireland. It has been shared on YouTube by Nobby On Cars. The presenter starts the review by highlighting some of the facts about the hatchback. He states that this hatchback costs under €22,000 and weighs under 1000 kgs.

Following this, he starts going in-depth about its exterior design details. He states that considering the Suzuki Swift’s price point, it is a genuinely good car. It offers decent looks, interior space, and it comes very packaged with modern features.

He highlights that even the base variant of this hatchback comes very well-equipped. The presenter then starts the driving review of the Suzuki Swift, and he highlights the rigid body and its advantages.

The Swift in Ireland comes with a 1.2-litre turbo three-cylinder petrol and 12V mild-hybrid system. It comes equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and a CVT gearbox. He adds that it is a very practical and value-for-money car.

Review 3 by Auto Social UK

The final video review has been shared on YouTube by Auto Social UK on their channel. It starts with the presenter giving a brief overview of the fourth-generation Swift. She states that this new model looks like a much more evolved version of the third-generation model.

The presenter highlights that she is genuinely impressed by the amount of features offered in this car. She states that even the base variant of this car comes equipped with lots of features. The Swift in the UK is offered in only two variants, namely Motion and Ultra.

She states the car gets adaptive cruise control, auto lights, auto rain-sensing wipers, keyless entry and start, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets automatic climate control, heated seats, a wireless charger, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Following this, she then drives the car and shares her opinion on it. The presenter states that the most immediate difference noticeable is the addition of a lot of sound-deadening material. The cabin now feels much more refined and noise-free. She adds that even though the engine is small, it does not make much noise.
