2025 Nissan Qashqai facelift teased ahead of imminent reveal

The Nissan Qashqai is getting a fresh face.

Nissan uploaded a short video of the impending Qashqai update to its social media channels as well as an unveiling date – April 17 – though the dimly lit setting gives away few details about what we can expect from the facelift.

At the front, it appears the current Nissan Qashqai’s C-shaped LED headlights will remain, though a part of the front guard and bumper will now extend through the unit, splitting its light signature.

It also looks like the chrome twin which surrounds the Qashqai’s existing grille will be removed, similar to changes made to the recently facelifted Nissan Juke.

A brief shot of the SUV’s interior doesn’t appear to reveal any changes, with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster remaining alongside a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The current third-generation Nissan Qashqai arrived in Australia in late 2022, and has since become one of the brand’s better-selling models, having racked up 6614 sales last year, behind only the X-Trail, Navara and Patrol.

As previously reported, the next-generation Qashqai is expected to go electric, with Nissan targeting price parity between the petrol model and its battery-powered successor.

The electric Nissan Qashqai is reportedly due to launch in 2029, and will likely be built in the United Kingdom, with its design taking inspiration from the Hyper Urban concept
